This is a timeline that shows the history of the water industry in Korea. We would like to introduce you to where we are in terms of the water industry and why we need the Korea Water Cluster.
Major pillars of the water industry include waterworks, where we obtain and treat most of the water we use in our everyday lives, and sewage. The history of waterworks and sewage will help us understand the development of the water industry.
The global water industry is continuously growing, with a current scale of approximately KRW 800 trillion. Korea Water Cluster is an industrial cluster launched by the Ministry of Environment and managed by the Korea Environment Corporation, to help Korean water companies secure a competitive edge and lead the global water industry.
Korea Water Cluster is in charge of Water Convergence Research Center and Substantiation Facilities(Substantiation Plant) to contribute to the development of the resident companies and the national water industry.
Korea Water Cluster implements various projects with goals to enhance water welfare for the Korean people, increase water management efficiency, create new water-related jobs, and contribute to the economy, as well as make Korea a water powerhouse.

In the water industry, technology innovation based on the Fourth Industrial Revolution will allow artificial intelligence to be in charge of the use of water resources with heavy rain, recycling the resources, learning and predicting the water network and disasters, and managing the ecosystem and the water resources. Within the comprehensive, cutting-edge Smart Water Grid water management system, a number of factors and technology will provide us with a new type of water circulation system of the future with Internet of Things (IoT) and CPS.
This space allows you to look through the Korea Water Cluster with VR Experience. Check out the cluster with VR such as Substantiation Plant, Water Convergence Research Center, Global Business Center, and Water Campus.
If you wish to visit, please take note of the hours of operation. Note that children aged 7 and under may feel dizzy while visiting the cluster.
The Planned Exhibition Hall is consisted of spaces for cultural activities and themed activities. It will become a place for all to share values, change awareness, and pursue innovative growth.
This space is divided by the characteristics of the resident companies, and allow companies to promote their products accordingly.

There are special booths for excellent companies among resident companies by sector to promote their technology or products.
- GREEN TECH specializes in pumps. The innovation-leading company produced the IoT pump for the first time in the country.
- Midni specializes in water treatment that provides Total Water Treatment Solution including liquid filters, purification systems, underwater treatment systems, and industrial water treatment services.
- ATT Co. specializes in environment meters. With technology partnerships with global companies, ATT Co. succeeded in domesticating environment meters to reduce maintenance costs by 30%.
