A space where visitors can learn about the types of microorganisms
that appear when activated sludge is in good condition during the wastewater treatment process,
and experience discovering microorganisms found in the water purification process.
- -The biological wastewater treatment process is a method that uses bacteria, fungi, algae, and protozoa to break down or detoxify pollutants in wastewater.
- -The wastewater treatment method that supplies oxygen to microorganisms, allowing them to actively consume pollutants and convert the contaminants in sewage into carbon dioxide and water.
- -Wastewater treatment is the process of removing pollutants from domestic sewage or industrial wastewater.
- -It is used to minimize environmental issues in the water cycle or to recycle treated water for reuse.
- -The most common method used in wastewater treatment is biological treatment, which utilizes the metabolic processes of microorganisms. Among these, the most representative method is the activated sludge process.
- -Activated Sludge Process: This method involves supplying oxygen to the sediment generated during the wastewater treatment process, encouraging the growth of aerobic microorganisms that help reduce pollutants.
